He uses leading-edge technology like 3-D cone beam CT scans to determine the precise location and position to place your implant for optimal results.
Dental implant placement is a comfortable, straightforward procedure at our dental office under local anesthesia. During the healing phase, called osseointegration, bone cells grow around the implant post over several months until it becomes one with your jaw.
Once the implant fully integrates, we attach a piece to the implant post called an abutment that connects the custom-made dental crown, bridge, or denture, completing the restoration.
Bone Grafting and Sinus Lifts
Sometimes a patient needs additional procedures to ensure the success of implants. If there isn’t enough bone mass or room in the area to place them, Dr. Ben may recommend bone grafting or a sinus lift.
